It’s been a busy start to the year. To date there have been 11 closed escrows,
which represents a 50% increase from the same time last year. We are
seeing buyers that are willing to pay a premium for properties that have
been updated. These buyers are not interested in committing their time to
bring a property up to their standards with a $300,000 plus remodel. There
are buyers for fixer uppers, but they are fewer each year. There was an
interesting closing this month. The seller loved their first investment that
they owned for two years and recently sold it to buy the ultimate four
bedroom corner unit. The lifestyle at The Shores is hard to beat; it is very
